Our Akanistha Guest House facility offers 6 single and 7 double occupancy cozy, clean, and comfortable, furnished rooms.  Non-attached toilet and shower rooms are located on every floor with electric hot water heating facility.  Room rates are  300 Rs (single) and 500 Rs (double). Rates are subject to decrease in low tourist seasons.

Discounts are available for local and international members of FPMT as well as Nepal student visa holders and, volunteers of participating agencies. Please see our membership benefits information for short term or long term stays.

Booking information :

We currently don’t have online booking, but please inform us when you arriving and we can let you know what our room availability is.  We can hold room reservations up to noon time daily for one day advance reservations or up to one hour of estimated time of arrival for same day afternoon reservations.  If rooms are unavailable, we can provide you with discount rate priveleges from a number of local guesthouses who are interested in serving you while you wait for accommodation to become available with us.  Our center facilities are for the public, so you can still come to enjoy and relax in our restful environment and we are happy to assist you while you visit Kathmandu.
